Spotify built in —

AudioZone.app connects directly to Spotify for deep integration: current track, album art, play/pause and skip without leaving the app. But it also captures any audio playing on Windows — YouTube, Apple Music, Tidal, a playlist, a browser tab. If your PC can play it, AudioZone.app routes it to your zones.

  • Spotify — track info, album art, play/pause & skip
  • YouTube, Apple Music, Tidal, any streaming service
  • Any browser tab or Windows app
  • One-click Spotify connection — stays linked automatically
  • Switch sources any time without reconfiguring zones

4 independent audio zones in AudioZone.app — per-zone volume, mute and custom names for Windows multi-zone audio
Zone control

Up to 4 independent
audio zones

Every audio zone has its own output device, volume level, mute button and custom name. Bar louder, terrace softer, VIP room silent — all controlled from one screen, all saved automatically. Need two zones on one device? Route one to the Left channel and another to the Right.

  • Up to 4 independent output zones
  • Custom name per zone (Bar, Terrace, VIP…)
  • Individual volume and mute per zone
  • L/R channel routing — 2 zones per stereo output
  • USB, HDMI and Bluetooth outputs
  • Settings saved and restored automatically
Per-zone 3-band equalizer and L/R channel routing in AudioZone.app — bass, mid and treble controls for each audio zone
Equalizer & routing

Per-zone EQ and
L/R channel routing

Fine-tune the sound of every room independently. Each zone has its own 3-band equalizer — boost bass in the dance floor, cut treble in a noisy kitchen, flatten everything in the terrace. And if you're running short on outputs, route two zones to the left and right channels of a single stereo device.

  • 3-band EQ per zone — bass, mid & treble
  • ±12 dB range on each band
  • Reset to flat in one click
  • L/R channel routing — 2 zones per stereo output
  • EQ and routing saved with zone config
  • Zero-latency processing — no audible delay

Set up multi-zone audio in under 10 minutes

The built-in setup wizard walks you through every step. No audio engineering knowledge required.

1

Install VB-Audio Cable (free, 2 min)

Download the free VB-Audio Cable driver — the virtual audio device AudioZone.app uses to capture your music. The built-in wizard walks you through it step by step.

2

Route your music through AudioZone.app

In Windows Volume Mixer, set Spotify (or any music app) to output to CABLE Input. AudioZone.app captures everything automatically.

3

Name your zones and assign devices

Give each zone a name (Bar, Terrace, VIP…) and assign an audio output to it. Set volumes, connect Spotify, scan the remote QR code — you're done.

Common questions

Everything you need to know before getting started.

Does it work with Spotify, YouTube and other streaming services?
Yes. AudioZone.app captures any audio playing on Windows — Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Tidal, or any other app. If Windows can play it, AudioZone.app can route it. The Spotify integration adds on-screen track info and playback controls on top of that.
How does the phone remote control work?
Click the ⚡ Remote button in the app header. A QR code appears — scan it with any phone on the same Wi-Fi network. A web page opens instantly with volume sliders and mute buttons for every zone. No app to install on the phone. Multiple people can connect at the same time.
Does the Spotify integration require Premium?
A Spotify account is required. Free accounts have limitations on playback control via the Spotify API — skipping and play/pause work best with a Premium account. Seeing the current track info works with both.
Do I need special hardware?
You need a Windows 10 or 11 PC with multiple audio outputs — one per zone. The easiest option is a USB audio interface like the Behringer UMC204HD or UMC404HD, both plug-and-play on Windows. Multiple USB speakers or adapters also work. VB-Audio Cable (free) is also required — AudioZone.app installs it automatically.
Does the app need internet to work?
No. Once activated, AudioZone.app works fully offline. The Spotify integration requires internet (it connects to Spotify's API), but all zone routing and the phone remote control work entirely on your local network — no internet needed.
What happens when the 7-day trial ends?
The app stops working and asks for a license key. You can buy at any point — before or after the trial — and enter the key to unlock it permanently.
Does it work on Mac or Linux?
Not currently. AudioZone.app is built specifically for Windows 10 and Windows 11. A Mac version is not planned.
Can I adjust the EQ separately for each zone?
Yes. Every zone has its own independent 3-band equalizer with bass, mid and treble controls from −12 dB to +12 dB. Open the zone settings, adjust the sliders and the change takes effect immediately. All EQ settings are saved automatically with your zone configuration.
What is L/R channel routing and why would I use it?
L/R channel routing lets you assign two zones to a single stereo audio output — one zone plays on the left channel and another on the right. This is useful when you have a stereo interface but want two independent zones without buying extra hardware. Each channel delivers a fully independent audio feed with its own volume, mute and EQ.
What if I need more than 4 zones?
The current version supports 4 output zones plus 2 AUX inputs. If you need more, contact us at hello@audiozone.app.
How do I play different music in different rooms on Windows?
AudioZone.app is exactly the tool for this. It captures your music source (Spotify, YouTube, any app) and routes it to up to 4 independent audio outputs — one per room. Each zone has its own volume and mute control, so every room can be adjusted independently from a single Windows app.
Can I use AudioZone.app in a bar, restaurant or hotel?
Yes — that's what it's built for. AudioZone.app is used in bars, restaurants, retail stores, hotels and event venues to manage background music across multiple areas. The phone remote control lets staff adjust volumes on the floor without going back to the PC. The 7-day trial lets you test it in your space before buying.
Is there a difference between Windows 10 and Windows 11 support?
AudioZone.app runs natively on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 with no differences in functionality. No additional drivers or frameworks are required beyond VB-Audio Cable, which the built-in wizard installs automatically.
